This DisplayPort 1.4 EDID Emulator from Network Technologies is designed to store and reproduce EDID information to resolve video communication and handshaking issues between a DisplayPort source and its target display. Boasting resolutions up to 8K30, the emulator provides EDID signals without interruption to ensure that signal is never lost when employing the use of AV and KVM splitters and extenders. The device may also be used in lieu of a monitor, emulating a DisplayPort-compatible display, to maintain active operation of a graphics card to ensure uninterrupted remote access over IP.
