With three 2.5 Gb/s LAN ports and one WAN port, the TUF Gaming BE9400 allows you to take advantage of multi-Gig internet services and compatible network devices. I replaced my old router with this one, and can definitely feel the difference. I used to think all routers are the same, but it turns out I was wrong. I am actually able to get open nat settings for the ps5 and the UI is easy to use and set up any ports or things I can watch my kids and make sure they are safe when browsing the web.

The ASUS TUF Gaming BE9400 delivers excellent range and stable performance across a large footprint. In my 4,500 sq. ft. home, one unit covered most of the space, and adding a second node completed full coverage through a mesh setup without signal drops. The router handled a heavy load on my network, including four high-performance workstations, multiple Wi-Fi security cameras, LED lights, and various IoT devices. I run several VLANs—IoT, Media, a high-priority Work/HPC VLAN, and a general network—and the BE9400 supports this structure cleanly. Throughput remains consistent across wired and wireless segments, and the multi-gig ports make it easy to maintain bandwidth headroom. If you plan to pair this router with an ASUS AXE11000, be aware of interoperability limits. The AXE11000 cannot fully participate in the 6 GHz band when meshed with the BE9400, and VLAN settings from the TUF series don’t carry over. The two will work together with capability gaps. Overall, the BE9400 is a strong performer with excellent coverage and solid multi-VLAN support. Just keep the mixed mesh constraints in mind if you’re integrating other ASUS hardware.
