Extend and VLAN Modes
Use the front-facing DIP switches to configure the first 22 ports. Extend mode allows you to transfer up to 10 Gb/s across 820.2' of Cat 5e or better cable. VLAN mode protects those ports by limiting communication between the downlink ports with their respective uplink ports.
IGMP Snooping
Identifies the multicast groups connected to the switch and sends data to the exact ports instead of broadcasting them.
Loop Prevention
Blocks the ports automatically when it detects a loop in the network.
