Perfect for my needs

I use a peak design field pouch that I slide my backpack strap so the pouch kind of hugs my ribs on that side. I put this on whenever I leave the house. Inside that pouch I have an osmo pocket 3, an rx1r ii, a Sennheiser profile wireless mic, receiver and mini deadcat, 3 batteries for the rx1r, nd filters and cpls for the osmo, different mounts and adapters etc. I can literally stop and photograph anything, video anything, do an interview, shoot some social media at a moment's notice. The point I'm getting at is this is a lot of stuff crammed into a small space and then strapped to a pack that takes a lot of abuse. I've never broken anything inside of it and this simple little cheap accessory has saved my osmo from lots of potential damage. It's one of the best value accessories I've ever purchased. I've dropped the osmo 3 times already, been bumped into, banged into dooryways etc and everything is perfect and still looks brandnew. I like this better than any of the other case options available at this time (8/1/2026)

It snaps in quick and easy and holds lenses. It does have some side to side play so if you squeeze it on an angle it will make a clicking sound. Not exactly a pocket camera even though pocket is in the title, this cover makes it even less so. Since I was never going to carry this in my pocket anyway, it's fine. I carry it in a pd field pouch along with some lights, mounts and tripod and profile wireless kit. It tucks away easily on my side using the backpack shoulder strap as a "belt" in the belt loop. Take out the camera, flip it open easily, remove camera, flip it closed and put the case back in the field pouch, shoot what you have to shoot, take the case back out, flip, place, close, put back in bag. Quick, easy and enough to protect it from even careless drops from about 4 feet high (ask me how I know)
