The SmallRig S 70 2-Person Wireless Microphone System for Cameras and Mobile Devices (2.4 GHz, Black) comes with a 3.5mm TRS audio cable that would be connected from the receiver into the 1/8'' mic input on the Nikon Z8 or Nikon Z9. The receiver would mount to the accessory shoe on top of the camera. After that, the audio from the wireless system would be recorded with your video on the camera.

You would have to monitor your audio from the destination, if it is a camera, audio recorder or computer. There would be no smartphone monitoring during recording with this wireless system.
