The camera mounts onto the cage using a single 1/4"-20 screw, and there is a raised front to prevent the camera from twisting and rubber padding on the base to prevent metal-to-metal contact.
In addition to multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads, the cage features ARRI-style locating holes to prevent accessories from twisting when mounted on the cage. The cage features an integrated Arca-type mount on the base, so you can mount it on standard Arca-type heads and bases. There is a shoe mount on top, integrated strap slots that allow you to add a separately available neck or wrist strap, and a QD (Quick Detach) socket on the bottom that provides an additional strap attachment. A screwdriver for securing the camera screw is stored on the bottom of the cage.
