Bring your professional projects to life with the ProArt PA279CRV 27" 4K HDR Monitor from ASUS. Designed to deliver exceptional color, this Calman verified 3840 x 2160 resolution 4K display is factory calibrated for Delta E <2 accuracy, covering 99% of the DCI-P3 gamut. You can quickly switch to other gamut presets such as sRGB and Rec. 709 to fit with your photo, video editing, and color grading needs. VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified high-dynamic range support provides images with bright highlights and deep shadows. Built in Adaptive-Sync technology helps to reduce screen tearing and stuttering from fast action videos with compatible graphics cards.

You can connect this monitor to your system using the DisplayPort and HDMI ports or use the USB-C connector to transfer video, data, audio, and up to 96W of power over a single cable with compatible laptops. With razor thin bezels and a DisplayPort Out connector, you can enhance your workflow by daisy chaining multiple ProArt Display monitors together. There is also a built-in USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub that includes three USB-A ports and one USB-C port, allowing you to charge your devices and connect 5 Gb/s compatible peripherals to your system through the monitor.

Exceptional Color
Designed for creative professionals, the ProArt Display PA279CRV is factory calibrated and Calman-verified for a color accuracy average of Delta E <2. Additionally, it's 27" In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel supports a crisp 3840 x 2160 4K resolution, providing 1.07 billion colors that cover 99% of the DCI-P3 and 99% of the Adobe RGB gamut. Other features include high-dynamic range support, a 1000:1 static contrast ratio, 400 nits peak brightness, and 5 ms (GtG) response time.
Quick Color Gamut Adjustments
Use the integrated ProArt Presets to switch between multiple color settings that include sRGB, Rec.709, Adobe RGB, DCI-P3, and DICOM modes. The PA279CRV is compliant with the DICOM Part 14 standard to ensure smooth gradations and accurate identification of grayscale shading.
Sleek Design
The ProArt Display PA279CRV features a space-saving design that's 33% thinner and 30% slimmer than the previous generation, measuring just 8mm at its slimmest point. The aluminum plate ensures optimal cooling performance, and the stand includes a convenient cable management system.
Versatile Connectivity
The ASUS ProArt Display includes two HDMI 2.0 ports alongside a DisplayPort 1.4 input. You can also transfer video, data, and up to 96W of power over a single cable using the main USB-C port. Connecting compatible computers gives you access to a hub comprised of a 15W USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port and three 5 Gb/s USB-A ports. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also available for listening privacy.

Keep Long-Term Color Accuracy
The ProArt CaliContrO is a high-precision color colorimeter that can be used with monitors/laptops for software color calibration to generate an ICC Profile and also be matched with a ProArt Display which supports hardware calibration feature via ProArt calibration software. Software Calibration
The ProArt CaliContrO MCA02 can do software calibration via ProArt calibration software to generate an ICC Profile. An ICC Profile is a file that contains color management information, which can be used by the operating system and other applications to ensure consistent color output across different devices. By creating an ICC Profile, users can ensure that the colors displayed on their ASUS monitor are true to life and match the intended output.
Hardware Calibration
The ProArt CaliContrO MCA02 also work seamlessly with ASUS ProArt calibration software. Each ProArt display can be calibrated and the 3D LUT (Look-up Table) subsequently rewritten. It can write back and save color parameter profiles on the ProArt display's internal scaler IC chip, instead of on the PC, allowing users to connect it to devices with different operating systems or applications without needing to adjust settings. The saved profiles can be easily activated via the hotkey on the monitor.

I've been waiting nearly two months for a warranty replacement on a factory-defective monitor. I even agreed to advance-pay for the new unit to expedite the process. Apparently, expedite means .. A textbook example of sales done, customer done. Disappointing behavior from a major brand.

Spot On Color Accuracy

As a retired pro in photography and video production I feel I have a qualified eye for monitor color and general image quality. This is a spectacular monitor. Intense black levels but with full detail in the deep shadows, spot on color, bright whites with detail at the high end as well. I looked at the specs of higher cost Asus options but opted for this lower cost monitor and I'm very happy with my choice.
