Tamron TL-01 Reviews

Possibly a Game Changer

I bought this intending to use it for the Astro Focus Lock (Astro FC-L) feature and it works well enough. Then while exploring the app I found the Focus Time Lapse function and it's quite possibly a game changer for focus stacking. I am excited about the possibilities of the Tamron Link. The app is kind of a mess, but it works.

Tamron Link is pretty cool

I use iOS to connect to my lenses to make customization changes to the buttons, and focus system and this works great. You can do it real time and control your focus right from the phone if needed. Great for video, astrophotography and anytime you'd want to manually control your focus remotely. Pretty cool little upgrade. The Tamron link is also supposed to be compatible with android, though I don't have that so I cannot comment.
