Why choose one modulation effect when you can have it all with the KERNOM Elipse, an FX pedal that sports multiple modulation types including chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, Univibe, rotary, and more. With the innovative Mood knob, you can seamlessly morph between modulation types for hybrid FX and bold sonic exploration.
The Swirl knob allows you to add a second layer of movement via a slow-moving phaser, which when pushed, generates rich analog drive that pushes your modulation into saturation. The Mix knob provides wet/dry control for onboard parallel processing. Further controls include typical Speed, Shape, and Depth controls, and two footswitches: one for preset activation and one for activating the true bypass relay. Every parameter can be controlled via MIDI CC and FX can be synched via the MIDI clock of your external hardware, including DAWs. MIDI I/O is via 3.5mm TRS connectors. You can control morphing action with an external expression pedal. Although the pedal holds one preset, you can save and recall up to 128 presets through the MIDI connection.
- Tremolo and Harmonic Tremolo: from smooth Fender-amp-type trem to rhythmic chopped tremolo effects
- Rotary Speaker: capture the iconic Leslie swirl, perfect for blues and organ-like textures
- Chorus, Tri-Chorus, and Vibrato: dial in everything from subtle warmth to massive, wide stereo-like effects
- Flanger and Phaser: nail jet-engine swooshes and rich, evolving movement
- Vibe and Psychedelic: classic '60s warble with extra dimension
At the maximum setting, you get an analog drive circuit to push your modulation into warm saturation. Leave Swirl at the minimum setting for classic modulation tones.
