So Many Complements

It certainly functioned as needed or even better than expected. What I was not expecting is how many complements I got from colleagues while wearing it around my neck on its retro UI design yet modern function and capabilities.

Great intuitive meter

When I first saw this meter like he started her I was kind of hesitant and unknown company coming up with light meter that could compete. Which sold me was the YouTube video demonstration by the engineer if you really want to get to know this meter go find that video on YouTube as well worth the watch and it's ultimately what sold me the capabilities and the build quality of the light meter without that I would've been really skeptical. I have now had this meter for a few months and I can say that it was well worth the money for me. As a commercial photographer of 15 years, having accurate light readings as well as color temperature accuracy can make a huge difference when creating for a realistic real life Product Photography. If you're looking for a light meter, but also need a color meter. This is for sure the one to get. I really like that. It has a very very, very very intuitive user interface and simple manual system. The first time I used it felt like I've been using it for years. Another feature that I really like is the back light the meter that I already have does not have a backlight. It's just a standard basic LCD, but this meter has a light in the back of it and it's also auto adjusting a feature that I initially turned off, but after photographing out on a golf course on a cloudy day, I turned it on and I'm glad that it has this feature to adjust when you're shooting the studio in the dark and then also on a bright overcast day it makes it easy to see the readings. I also really like that it supports battery charging via USB-C if you use nickel metal, high dried batteries, which I do and I also suggest to use in triggers and other things that use batteries because rechargeables have saved me so much time and money over the last 15 years many of the batteries that I first purchased I'm still using today which shocks even me. I can say without a doubt this meter has been well worth the purchase price and I'm so glad that I bought it. It's always joy to use and the build quality is phenomenal.
