The MultiDyne SilverBack Package 2 from Sony delivers a robust, full-bandwidth fiber optic link between any 12G-SDI video camera and your truck, control room, or video village location. This system places all the signals needed for multicamera UHD 4K television production into a single tactical or SMPTE hybrid fiber cable, ensuring a reliable connection on your studio or remote production.
Cinematic Live Production
Ideal for cinematic live multicamera productions, the SilverBack Package 2 enables you to convert the latest cinema-style digital cameras into SMPTE studio cameras. This system is available in multiple video I/O configurations and can support 12G-SDI-based 4K signals as well as 3G-SDI. Full camera control is provided by the camera manufacturer's control panel via a serial connection or a 10/100/GigE Ethernet path. The system also provides genlock, intercom, tally, GPIO, and two 3G-SDI BNC video return interfaces.
Components
This bundle pairs the SB5-C121 SilverBack V camera back transceiver with an SVB-B121-ST1D-4W1R base station 12G/6G/3G transceiver, a Juice-60 external power supply, a tally light, 1 RU and 2 RU rackmount kits, and multiple breakout cables. Power the SilverBack V using a fiber cable and the included JUICE-60 system or by using the integrated V-mount battery plate and a separately available battery.
