deliver powerful low frequencies while keeping the midrange clear of masking and buildup, the Fluid Audio Image 212S is a dual 12" subwoofer within a sealed enclosure and force-canceling configuration which balances the drivers mechanically to minimize vibrations, while maximizing acoustic output.
The integrated 2000W peak amplifier drives dual 12" drivers, which produce frequencies from 110 Hz down to 29 Hz with a maximum SPL of 120 dB. It offers balanced combo XLR-1/4" analog inputs as well as XLR LFE analog outputs. Additionally, the 212S is equipped with a pair of AES/EBU input/thru connectors. A power cord is included.
- Quantity: Single Powered Subwoofer
- LF Driver: Dual 12-inch active (dual opposed)
- Enclosure: Sealed
- Wattage: 1000W RMS (2000W peak)
- Applications: Stereo, Dolby Atmos, Sony 360, Immersive
- Vi-bracer (TM) ties opposing LF motors with outward pressure, so the reaction forces never reach the cabinet, resuling in clean, uncolored bass.
Sealed, musical low end
- Dual drivers in a sealed enclosure deliver fast transients and tight punch that translates across rooms and systems.
Precise alignment controls
- Variable crossover, phase, and gain make it easy to integrate with your mains and room without guesswork.
Effortless integration
- Analog XLR/TRS, AES/EBU, and LFE inputs plus a compact cabinet that sits comfortably near walls or under a desk.
The sealed alignment rolls off smoothly, reducing boundary boom and making integration more predictable in tight rooms.
- Lower room interaction near walls
- Smoother LF blend with mains
- Flexible placement under desk or by wall
Massive power reserve
Dual 500W RMS amplifiers per system (2000W peak total) provide clean headroom for transients and LFE hits at reference levels.
- High headroom, low distortion
- Composed on fast transients
- Confidence at mix and QC levels
Vi-bracer Technology—vibration canceled at the source
- Opposing 12-inch motors are tied together by a rigid internal pole that applies outward pressure, canceling reaction forces before they reach the cabinet. Vibrations never develop, resonance is suppressed, and bass stays deep, fast, and uncolored, for seamless system integration.
- Gain control: (-30 to +6 dB)
- Variable phase control: (0 to 180°)
- Variable crossover control: (40 to 200 Hz)
- Sensitivity switch: (+4 dBu or -10 dBV)
- Input switch: (Analog or Digital)
- Standby switch: (Auto On or Off)
