The compact speaker can easily fit in my any room, where you can use dual-band Wi-Fi access, AirPlay 2, and Google Cast to stream audio from the internet or mobile devices. It can also be used as a surround or front left/right speaker. With an additional, optional M5, a pair can take advantage of Dolby Atmos FlexConnect for wireless sound optimization and a spatial audio experience. This is thanks to an up-firing tweeter working with a forward-firing tweeter and woofer.

Supporting Dolby Atmos FlexConnect (when paired with another M5), this M5 can be incorporated into a larger, existing surround sound system. No matter where the M5 and other FlexConnect speakers are placed, the technology automatically optimizes sound quality based on their position within the space. Use the M5 as a front left/right or surround with an optional H7 soundbar and/or W7 subwoofer.

Real-Time Genre Recognition
As you play your content, whether it be a TV show, movie, or music, the M5 will use real-time genre recognition to recognize it and adjust settings scene-by-scene in real-time. This is done to balance the overall audio, provide clarity, and optimize spatial depth.
LG ThinQ
You can configure and control the M5 using a FlexConnect-compatible TV or the LG ThinQ mobile app. The app lets you manage the M5 and all other Sound Suite devices you own, and provides access to LG Radio+. Radio+ delivers free podcasts, music, and live radio. There's also the MY button on the M5 that you can configure in the app, giving you one-touch access to specific content or features.
