Dell UltraSharp 49 Overview

Enhance your multitasking with this Dual Dell UltraSharp 49" WQHD Ultrawide Curved Monitor Kit from B&H. It includes two curved 49" Dell UltraSharp 5120 x 1440 resolution ultrawide displays, which allows you to set up a dual-monitor configuration for more room to organize windows and view large projects.

Vibrant Visuals
The 49" IPS panel is calibrated for Delta E<2 accuracy, delivering up to 1.07 colors that cover 100% of the sRGB and Rec. 709 gamuts and 98% of the DCI-P3 and P3 color gamuts. With a 2000:1 contrast ratio, images are enhanced with deep shadows and bright highlights.
Curved Screen
Work comfortably with a curved screen that improves field of view and reduces reflection and eye fatigue.
Extensive Connectivity
The USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub lets you transfer up to 10 Gb/s with compatible peripherals. The front panel includes one USB-A and two USB-C downlink ports. The rear of the monitor has four USB-A ports alongside one USB-C connector and a 2.5G Ethernet port.
Fast & Stable Network Connection
Get up to 2.5G Ethernet provided by RJ45 with PXE boot, Mac Address pass-thru and Wake on LAN features. RJ45 lock feature gives you the flexibility to lock the wired Ethernet to a chosen PC while continuing to work from dual PC inputs.
Customizable View
Internal Multi-Stream Transport (iMST) technology lets you view your display across the full screen or split it into 2 x 27-inch QHD partitions. No external software or DisplayPort splitter needed.
Enhanced Multitasking
Connect to two PC sources and Auto KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) will seamlessly switch controls over to the second connected PC. Use KVM feature to control both PCs with a single keyboard and mouse. The KVM wizard makes setup a breeze.
Enhanced Comfort
Adjust the screen's height, tilt, and swivel to your preferences. ComfortView Plus is an always-on, built-in, low blue light screen that reduces potentially harmful blue light emissions without compromising color.

    Very sharp monitor, as efficient as having 3 monitors but easier. If you are tall it's a little low with just the stand, plan to get an arm. Picture quality is great.

    I'm a real person, don't write many reviews, but wanted to share that this monitor really meets my workflow needs. Most reviews/marketing for wide monitors are (rightfully) geared toward gaming. Hope my two cents helps: I do a lot of financial and stock market analysis. I've been working through many screen configs over the years. Concluded few months ago one big one monitor would best fit what I do today. Read all the reviews I could find, went to stores, fiddled with several types and obviously chose this Dell 49" model. This monitor has it all: very robust display mounting, smooth/solid tilt-n-turn,, ample(!) ports of all types, strong charging hub, sharp picture with granular controls. Best part: I can fit two spreadsheet views, a charting/trading app view, and a Python programming app view. Four screens/views with enough horizontal room to actually do work inside each. Also note: plenty of vertical room. Right amount of gentle curve to seamlessly read across it all. Yes, I checked the gift card drawing chance in exchange for a review. That said, I'm really writing this to pay it forward if your needs are more biz, less gaming, like mine. Dell itself is a top choice on its own. I've been partial to LG and Samsung in recent years mostly for my TVs but also monitors. I'm 55, old enough to have seen Dell come and go. Much analysis and store test drives later I gotta say, I think Dell delivers the best monitor right now if you need to roll in a real-world 'four-wide' formation for work. Re: B&amp;H. My wife's a tech powerhouse and industrial procurement exec. She knows how to find top suppliers, top deals. We've been ordering all kinds of things from B&amp;H for years, never had anything but a great experience and great prices.
