Synology HAT3320 Plus Reviews

Good but very expensive

The drives worked perfectly in the DX517 expansion unit I put them in. I would complain that you are now required to use Synology drives in their units, but the prices of all hd's have almost doubled in the last two years. Blame the AI data centers. There may be other NAS units that work well, but Synology is impeccable, except for their AI support which I can only describe as arrogant. You need to get a human involved. Have encountered some weird software problems this time around adding an expansion unit, but the human in their engineering are really good.

Very easy

After my older Synology DS220 started showing health issues, I upgraded to the DS223J with 16TB of storage. The data migration process was seamless. Kudos to B&H Photo for excellent packaging and prompt two-day shipping. The system is performing excellently.
