Mount Plate with Handle are perfect

The SmallRig mount plate fits perfectly and as intended doesn't block the battery or SDXC card access ports. The silicon rubber faced grip matches the L10 body covering and greatly improves the ability to safely hold the L10 in one hand. Looks nice, solid, and is works as intended. For me the included "ergonomic thumb rest" is a mandatory waste of the $18 additional charge over the "bare" mount plate. It adds a sharp protrusion at the back of the camera making it snag on clothing when using a neck strap. It also creates a potential way to break or bend the L10 hot shoe and gets in the way while blocking use of the hotshot. I tried it for 10-minutes and decided keeping it on the camera was a potential accident waiting to happen. Mounting Plate: 5 stars, Thumb Rest: 0 stars. I generally love SmallRig accessories and tools, but can't recommend the Thumb Rest to anyone who owns a L10.

This makes handling my camera one-handed much easier and more secure. It is a great addition for it. The color match for the Titanium camera is “spot on”! Nice quality product.
