[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For productivity and gaming, this is a fantastic choice for most users. Super easy installation, good performance and endurance, and easy installation with no issues. I've had multiple Samsung drives over the years and never had an issue. The speeds just about max out Gen4 PCIe and are great for gaming, some development, and general productivity usage. Just keep in mind that this model doesn't have DRAM, so it's not the drive I'd run Adobe Lightroom or the like on. I've been using it for storing large language models and programming projects, and it's been great at loading dozens of gigabytes speedily into my GPUs VRAM. It's also fantastic for playing games like Horizon Forbidden West and Cyberpunk 2077, allowing for fast startup speeds and quick loading screens. Samsung Magician is great software for setting up your drive, making sure the firmware is up to date, and benchmarking drives yourself.

2TB of Fast, Reliable Storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this SSD for my PS5 and it is wonderful! The installation was pretty quick — I just needed to pop the cover off and install it. I rebooted my PS5 and it recognized it right away. The speed was pretty consistent and was close to the 7,250 MB/s reads that they advertised; I was able to move my 800GB library onto the SSD, and it kept the speed consistent throughout the whole copy. Coming to the gaming performance itself, I didn't notice any lag between the native PS5 disk and the games played from the SSD — both were consistent and the difference was unnoticeable. I was playing God of War off of the SSD, and the frame rate was constant, without any lag throughout the entire game. Having had it for a couple of weeks now, I haven't noticed any degradation; it seems to be pretty consistent. I also checked on the disk after a long gaming session, and it was cool to the touch so they did a great job with design and power management. I also feel like 2 TB is a good size, as you get about 1.8 TB of usable drive space, so you can install a couple of big FPS shooters on the drive itself. Overall, given its size, speed, and consistency, I was very pleased with this SSD and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
