The amaran Ray 120c RGB LED Monolight does not list a support weight or largest softbox limit. It is mostly recommended not to go larger than five feet. And with a smaller softbox, the output is approximately 5600K: 220 fc / 2378 Lux. Using a larger softbox will reduce the output.

Can the Ace Lock to Baby Pin Adapter Grip be attached to the light so the battery holder is facing backwards towards the back of the light? In the pictures it looks like it can. I'm wondering since I've seen reviews of this light where people say the battery A/C holder gets in the way of tilting the light down when used with the Octa Dome 30 softbox
