More than a simple battery charger, the 3-Bay 100W Battery Charger for DJI Mini 5/4/3 Pro from SmallRig also features a built-in LED emergency flashlight and the ability to act like a power bank for a single USB-A device. As a charger, it can charge up to three flight batteries at once, either simultaneously or in sequence, depending on the power of the USB-C charger you pair with it. As you charge, integrated circuitry keeps them safe, and built-in LED status lights on each bay let you know their status.
Charging Modes
- Full Charge: Charges each battery to 100%
- Storage: Charges each battery to 60% in preparation for long-term battery storage
- USB Output: Uses the batteries as a power bank for a USB-A device
Simultaneous or Sequential
- Simultaneous: When paired with a 100W USB adapter, the hub simultaneously charges all three batteries
- Sequential: When paired with a low-power USB adapter, the hub reads the voltage and charge of each battery (starting with the battery with the most remaining charge, it charges each in sequence to get you flying as fast as possible)
Charging Safety
In addition to enhanced heat dissipation and cell protection, each bay protects its battery with integrated charging protections. These include protection against overdischarge, overheating, overload, overcurrent, short circuits, and low temperature.
