The OM SYSTEM PEN Mirrorless Camera (Black) uses micro 4/3rd lenses, and most other brands, including Panasonic, should work very well. Until the camera is released and tested, it will only use the camera's built-in 5-axis in-body image stabilization when using third-party lenses.

The OM SYSTEM PEN Mirrorless Camera (Black) has the ability to save up to eight creative profiles. Four of these profiles are color profiles, while the other four are monochrome profiles. And a new feature: you can share those profiles with others as well.

There is a new BLS-7 battery but no charger included in the kit. I assume that the battery can be charged in-camera. Is that correct?
The OM SYSTEM BLS-7 Battery can be charged by plugging the OM SYSTEM PEN Mirrorless Camera (Silver) into a USB-C power adapter while the battery is inserted in the camera or by using the OM SYSTEM BCS-7 Battery Charger for BLS-7, B&H # OMBCBCS7. Note, neither a USB power adapter nor the battery charger is included with the camera.

I have a bunch of Panasonic/Leica micro four third lenses. Are these compatible with this camera with no restrictions especially when it comes to auto-focus?
Panasonic and Leica Micro Four Thirds lenses can be mounted on the OM SYSTEM PEN Mirrorless Camera (Silver) and there will not be any issues with core features and autofocus. The main limitation would be the lack of Dual IS.

You can charge the battery in the camera in the OM SYSTEM PEN Mirrorless Camera with 14-42mm III and 40-150mm R Lenses (Black). You need an optional power and data USB C cable. You may have one in your possession, or you could charge the battery in the camera with the Belkin BoostCharge Pro 65W Dual USB-C GaN Wall Charger with USB-C Cable (B&H #BEWC13DQ2HB6).
