The OM SYSTEM PEN Mirrorless Camera with 14-42mm III Lens (Black) is of solid weatherproof construction, including durable, engineered plastics. The original did not have weatherproof construction. The new body is lightweight and will stand the test of time.

Does a USB-C charging cable come with the camera? It is not listed on your website as being supplied with the camera.
Unfortunately, a USB-C charging cable is not included with the OM System PEN Mirrorless Camera with 14-42mm III Lens. A suitable cable is the Pearstone USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 to USB-A Charge and Sync Cable (3.3'), BH # PEUS326CMAM3 along with the OM SYSTEM F-5AC USB-AC Adapter, BH # OMF5AC to charge the battery within the camera.

Will the USB-C I/O allow for charging of the battery in the camera? Would an iphone charger work? Thanks!

The specs for this camera state the body is water resistant. It also suggests pairing this with an OM Systems “splash resistant” lens, presumably for total wether resistance. Is the kit lens that comes with the body water resistant, and if not what replacement lenses would be water resistant and suitable for street and documentary photography?
The OM SYSTEM PEN Mirrorless Camera with a 14-42mm III Lens (Black) comes with a weather-resistant lens. And almost all of the OM lenses are weather resistant. And ideal for street photography.

The OM SYSTEM PEN Mirrorless Camera (Black) uses micro 4/3rd lenses, and most other brands, including Panasonic, should work very well. Until the camera is released and tested, it will only use the camera's built-in 5-axis in-body image stabilization when using third-party lenses.

There is a new BLS-7 battery but no charger included in the kit. I assume that the battery can be charged in-camera. Is that correct?
The OM SYSTEM BLS-7 Battery can be charged by plugging the OM SYSTEM PEN Mirrorless Camera (Silver) into a USB-C power adapter while the battery is inserted in the camera or by using the OM SYSTEM BCS-7 Battery Charger for BLS-7, B&H # OMBCBCS7. Note, neither a USB power adapter nor the battery charger is included with the camera.

I have a bunch of Panasonic/Leica micro four third
I have a bunch of Panasonic/Leica micro four third lenses. Are these compatible with this camera with no restrictions especially when it comes to auto-focus?
Panasonic and Leica Micro Four Thirds lenses can be mounted on the OM SYSTEM PEN Mirrorless Camera (Silver) and there will not be any issues with core features and autofocus. The main limitation would be the lack of Dual IS.
