If you are already familiar with a Rapid Box Switch softbox or if you have never worked with one, this all-new 2 x 3' Rapid Box Switch Fold-Flat Rectangular Softbox with Grid from Westcott is for you. The brand introduces a redesigned, improved light shape tool that features a quick-release button to fold it flat with just one press. Westcott's interchangeable mounting system supports a wide range of lights. A Bowens Switch insert is included to fit multiple LEDs and strobes. Additionally, a 55° grid is supplied alongside 1-stop inner and outer diffusers. A carry case packs it all to facilitate storage and travel.
Rectangular Shape
This softbox creates soft, flattering light for multiple scenarios. Its 2 x 3' size is a great choice for individual portraits, product photography, interviews, and content creation in the studio or on location.
Opens Fast, Packs Flat
The Fold-Flat series adds two built-in handles on the back of the softbox to provide not only a secure grip when opening it, but also to facilitate positioning. Thanks to its flat foldable design, you can have a reliable modifier wherever your next shoot takes you.
Bowens Switch Insert
The included Bowens Switch insert allows it to quickly attach and lock, giving you a hassle-free setup. The insert fits a wide range of fixtures, such as the Westcott FJ800, FJ400 series, FJ250, and L120-B LED.
Convenient Switch System
A convenient interchangeable Switch mounting system expands compatibility across different lighting systems. Additional inserts are separately available for other strobes, speedlights, and LEDs.
Further Control
Add the included and conveniently foldable 55° grid to direct light where you want it, while controlling unwanted spill. It also helps keep light off backgrounds, eliminating flare. The result is better-controlled portraits, products, and video work.
More Ways to Shape Your Light
A reflective silver interior maximizes output, and neutral inner and outer diffusers are available for smooth and even illumination. The included diffusion fabrics maintain true-to-life color to keep natural skin tones, accurate product colors, and consistent photo/video results. Finally, a deflector plate is available separately to create a beauty dish-like look.
