This Rycote Softie with Mount and Pistol Grip measures 24cm (9.44") long, fits 0.74 to 0.8" (19 to 22mm) diameter microphones and conveniently provides a durable pistol-grip-style mount and softie windscreen, eliminating noise caused by windy conditions in the field. Designed as a general solution for most shotgun microphone models, it easily mounts to a boom stand whenever boom pole operation is desired.
Rycote Classic Softies provide optimum wind diffusion and noise rejection while remaining cost effective. This softie features a standard size hole and measures 9.4" long. The softie will fit microphones with diameters from 0.7 to 0.8" / 19 to 22mm.
The Lyre Mount with Pistol Grip Handle from Rycote allows for handheld operation of shotgun microphones, or for boompole mounting with the 3/8"-16 threading at the base of the grip. It offers isolation against many forms of disturbances including handling noise when handheld, stand mounted, or when mounted on a boompole. The mount accommodates microphones with a 0.7 to 1.3" (19 to 34mm) diameter and is designed to fit MKH microphones.
