The Rycote Softie with Lyre Mount and Pistol Grip measures 11.41" in length, fits 0.74 to 1" (19 to 22mm) diameter microphones and conveniently provides both a durable pistol-grip-style mount and softie windscreen; eliminating noise caused by windy conditions in the field. Designed as a general solution for most shotgun microphone models, it easily mounts on a boom stand whenever boompole operation is desired.

The Lyre Mount with Pistol Grip Handle from Rycote allows for handheld operation of shotgun microphones, or for boompole mounting with the 3/8"-16 threading at the base of the grip. It offers isolation against many forms of disturbances including handling noise when handheld, stand mounted, or when mounted on a boompole. The mount accommodates microphones with a 0.7 to 1.3" (19 to 34mm) diameter and is designed to fit MKH microphones.
