Epson S041341 reviews

Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte (8.5 x 11", 50 Sheets) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 78.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Degraded: 15 sheets with black spots Epson continues to degrade their papers. I am a professional and have used this paper for proofing and for other purposes. In the last box I purchased at the end of March 2013 (letter size, 50 sheets), 15 of 50 sheets have black spots (one or several per sheet) on the sheet, rendering them unusable for me for the current project. That is 30 percent of the box. Although I have used this and other Epson papers (Hot Press Natural and Ultra Smooth Fine Art) for all my needs up to now, I have truly had enough. They have degraded Hot Press Natural also, and continue also to degrade Ultra Smooth Fine Art. They deny the degradation and calling the professional line and trying to sort this out will truly get you nowhere. It will only give you further pain and suffering. They truly don't care any more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FANTASTIC It adds a new dimension to my printing. Best thing is the overall cost. It is about l/3 the cost of gloss paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wonderful paper I originally purchased this paper to do test prints before using the more expensive Cold Press paper. Was very please with the quality and can be used for matted prints just fine. I mainly use it for my watercolor prints but tested one of my photo prints and my the blacks and quality of the prints really are wonderful. I wish they made it in an even heavier weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality, inexpensive, matte paper This is my go to paper for general printing and proofing. I find that it is cheep enough for day to day use but nice enough to sell prints made on it. The surface is pure white and very lightly textured. It can handle fine detail and variations in tones of white well. When it comes to deep blacks, especially large areas of it, this paper fails completely.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent mat paper for ink jet This is an excellent paper for general use where a real quality appearance is required. I've used it for posters and greeting cards. It has great brilliance and a nice weight, and the cost is really reasonable. I gave it only four stars only because there are high end papers that are better but for general, high-quality work, this is excellent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Very Smooth Contender If you have an Epson printer then you can't go wrong. If you are looking for an alternative to glossy stock but hate the quality of regular paper then you should be using this. I use it for CD inserts as well as photos for family and other uses. I find the quality equal to the glossy photo paper, just on matte which resists fingerprints.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent color and contrast Bought this paper to run tests for color enlargements on fine art paper, color and contrast are excellent, skin tones are very good dmax falls short. Does not hold a candle to Velvet Fine art, which is the best for exhibition prints, but at a much higher price. Bottom line, great paper but not the best, Excellent quality/price ratio.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Matte I used this for my photo assignment at university and it printed in really nice quality. However I since this was my first time printing high quality pictures (RAW pictures from a Nikon D40) I didn't realize how matte matte would be. In a way this paper is similar to really fine grained cardstock, as a result some of my pictures came out looking flat. The colors are also more muted than I thought they would be (due to the flatness). Also, the front of the paper is the side that is a bit more white, the back is a tad bit yellow. For matte paper, this is really good and high quality, dried quickly and doesn't smear (no fingerprints!). If you're looking for nice matte paper, this is great. It was also a lot cheaper than the stuff at my local @ and came with free shipping which was really convenient!
