Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT!!! In my opinion, I cannot see much difference between the matte paper and the canvas paper at a fraction of the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality, Excellent Results! I bought this paper for my Studio Photography class in college. It's a great printing paper for black and white pictures and not-so-vivid color pictures. You need to have in mind when buying Matte Paper that your pictures will need some correction because of the brightness, or lack of brightness should I say, of the paper. It isn't that difficult and the results are excellent. Great blacks and dark tones, perfect whites, accurate contrast. When using it with colors you should add some more saturation, but overall the results is really good as well. Epson Matte Paper is also better for exhibitions, it has no reflections whatsoever. Totally recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for everyday use, not for your finest art prints I needed a 13 x 19 50 sheet package at the lowest possible price and found Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte. It got me through the rush. It is a fine quality paper at 10 mil but is not acid-free, archival paper, which I need. I will have to run the images through the printer again at a later date on a finer, heavier (300 +) archival matte but for my needs at the time, this paper worked very well and I recommend that you definitely buy a package because it will not be wasted. If it is not as thick as you like this makes a great first draft. I will give the images I made on this paper as gifts, the paper is that good. I am an artist and prefer heavier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Art Printing I've been very cautious about what paper I was going to get for my art prints which I do myself--with the help of campus printing equipment. A friend recommended this site to me and I took a chance and purchased two 50 sheet packs of this paper--and boy did it turn out gorgeous! I was very worried about the matte paper dulling my colors but the colors came out wonderfully and I'm very pleased with the results. PS. CHECK WHICH SIDE YOU PRINT ON. Seriously the printing assistant put in my first piece of paper in the printer wrong and it just botched the entire image. So ya, watch for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality matte paper I use this paper when I want a soft, bright surface with the ultrachrome inks on my professional Epson printers. For my abstract art photography, it enhances the painterly quality of some pieces & produces good color range. I don't use it for black and white printing because it's not a high contrast paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great paper This paper is great for printing color photographs with. I haven't tried it for graphic work yet but I imagine it would work good for that also. The Matte finish renders midtones very beautifully in a way that glossy or luster doesn't. Also, the contrast of matte paper is slightly lower and doesn't show details as sharply. the paper has a great thickness to it and doesn't seem to pick up fingerprints. If matte paper is what you are looking for then this stuff is great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Predictably behaves the way I want I use this paper with an aging Epson 2200 printer. I feel like this paper does a great job of providing good brightness for the whites, while taking the ink well enough to give great richness in the dark areas. The texture is very plain -- which is fine with me, because I'm more interested in the textures within the image, not in the paper. I've had a custom profile made for my printer with this paper, and this paper/printer/profile combination consistently corresponds to what I see on-screen in Photoshop. This predictability is important to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not quite rag I use this paper for proofing exhibition quality black and white prints. These are 50MB files, with extraordinary detail and tonality. I have an aversion to throwing away a lot of rag paper - it's such beautifully crafted stuff. And expensive. But this paper has everything I need to ensure the final print will be fantastic. It looks wonderful, until I then print onto the rag and put them side-by-side. I am using the UT14 inkset from Paul Roark, and these give much deeper blacks on a Moab Entrada. But the EEM is a great step in the journey
