Key Features
  • Fujinon's Economical Boating Model
  • Waterproof and Fogproof
  • Floats in Water (with Strap Attached)
  • Porro Prism
Combining great performance and value, the Fujinon 7x50 WPC-XL Mariner Binoculars are their entry-level boating binoculars equipped with a compass. They have multi-coated lenses, a tough polycarbonate exterior, and a weight that is remarkably low for a 7x50 waterproof and fogproof optic. In fact, these rubber-armored binoculars will actually float in water when the included strap is attached. The compass' LED illumination and activation button are on the left objective, away from the compass itself, so that electrical interference is avoided.

My dilemma, unstabilized 7x50 or stabilized ...

My dilemma, unstabilized 7x50 or stabilized 10x25. Use would be on a 25ft powerboat is semi-choppy seas, not rolling seas. Any recommendations on which of the two options would be better?
Asked by: Norman
Rarely would you need stabilization for a 7X binocular. Where as a 10X because of its stronger magnification over the 7X it would be very beneficial.

question

What is the stability like when used on a boat? I was considering optical stablisation binoculars but price was an issue.
Asked by: Anonymous
The stabilization is excellent - unbelievable really. After looking through the binocs for a while, there is a little dizziness for the eyes when you quit - just for a second or so.

question

how do I make the lens adjustment. I have new batteries and the light lights'but nothing happenends in the focus. How do I focus the unit?
Asked by: Anonymous
These are constant focus and work from about 20 meters to infinity without adjustment. There are diopters on each eye piece, but those are intended to compensate for different vision in each eye, not for distance focus per se. If you need near focus, you'll need a different set of binoculars.
