Speed Ring for Profoto is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pretty Terrible The build quality of this speed ring is pretty terrible, to the point where I had to return a brand new one back to B&H because the clasp to tighten the rubber ring around my Profoto B1 wouldn't close all the way without popping apart. The quality of the metal was thin and janky as well. The irony of the big MADE IN CHINA sticker I noticed upon opening the box wasn't lost on me either. I love the durability of Photoflex's light modifiers but the quality of this speed ring is close to garbage. I really wish Profoto made a speed ring for Photoflex modifiers, as opposed to the other way around.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK for the Price I guess! The Profoto end of this ring, the rubberized portion with the clamp, is not perfectly Round. It is slightly egg-shaped. I have two, and they are both alike. I belive the one made by Chimera IS Round but it is, off course, more expensive. The Photoflex Ring works, but to me, the egg shape is a little annoying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Utility item and performs as expected This does as it's expected. No problem. From a design point of view, I wish the part that connected to the strobe head quick-released from the part that the light modifier spokes plug into. If they were designed this way, the light modifier could be much more easily moved from one mfgrs head to another and wouldn't require so many pieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Little Out of Round I gave this a 5 star rating because of the quality/price comparison with the same ring from Profoto. The quality here isn't quite like that of the Profoto ring, and when I received it, the rubber collar was not perfectly round, and had to be muscled over the light housing. However, it works well, and is certainly less expensive.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok but not quality It's cheap but you get what you pay for. Unfortunately these are not round but oval in shape and are harder to put on and take off, especially when you have a large softbox attached. I will not buy another and they won't be the first ring I reach for in my kit. I own a couple of rings by Profoto and they are much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Profoto Alternative I'm very pleased with the quality and price of this product. I have a number of Profoto softboxes and the price of this speedring is definitely a consideration, and I don't see any notable difference in the quality or durability from the Profoto line.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good stuff, works great The Good: Use this product to mount my 2' x 3' softbox to my pro-foto head. Saved a lot of money by not buying ProFoto Brand The Bad: Its a little cheap. Quality isn't great, but it will get the job done. The Ugly: its ugly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and does what it is supposed to No complaints. It is straightforward to set up and use. It is sturdy and functions as expected.
