Hoya B62CRPL overview

  • 1Description

Circular Polarizer - Light rays which are reflected become polarized. Polarizing filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. They can remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colors providing better contrast. The effect can be seen through the viewfinder and changed by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies according to how the filter is rotated and its orientation to the sun.

NOTE: Circular polarizers are specifically designed for use with auto-focus SLR cameras (They will also work on manual systems and video cameras without problems).

This filter eliminates ultraviolet rays to remove haze from outdoor shots as well as polarizing the light to remove reflections, and increase color saturation, without affecting the overall color balance

Hoya B62CRPL reviews

62mm Circular Polarizer Glass Filter is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 37.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Polarizer in this price range I needed a polarizer in 62 mm for a new lens I purchased and tried one by another brand that gave weird color results. Filters are like many other purchase decisions you can spend from a little to a lot. This filter was kind of in the middle of the price range and I have had good experience with this brand in other filters before, so I decided to try this one. The quality is very good and the photo results were just as good too. I am very pleased with this filter and will consider this brand in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 62mm Circular Polarizer Glass Filter by I am using this on my Tamron 70-300mm lense. The filter makes the pictures much more vibrant. Without the filter, I get too much haze in my long-range pictures. I would highly recommend purchasing this for your telephoto lenses!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hoya Circular Polarizer Filter Hoya has different classes of filters but I chose the mid range because I don't use them that often. Yes, there are filters that cost several hundred dollars each but I have always trusted Hoya to give me a quality product. I purchased six circular polarizers at the same time so this review should do for all of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bluer Skies and less glare I use this filter to reduce glare in my photographs. In addition to reducing glare this filter allows me to capture bluer skies in contrast to puffy white clouds. It quickly screws onto the end of my lens when I want to use it for a shot. Simple to use with great results. I would recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good product I bought two of these filters to make a variable ND filter for more freedom in filmmaking and also for polarizing effect and it works amazing on with. There's no loss of sharpness on the image unlike cheap variable ND filters that cost the same price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from sticky and not impressed It certainly works as a circular polarizer, but the movement is very sticky and hard to turn. Not sure if this is standard for this size or if this is just absolutely unacceptable atrocious QC. Either way, I am sending it back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Vacation Pictures Turned Out Great My family went on a Caribbean cruise and I compared the results with and without using my new polarizer glass filter. What a difference it made in the water and sky colors.
