This is a Matthews Hollywood Century "C" Stand with 20" main section, 2 risers and sliding leg base. It includes a 20" arm and grip head. When the stand and arm are extended, the top height is 5.25' (1.6 m).

The unique staggered leg design of a C Stand allows it to be nested and placed extremely close to one another on a set. The top leg of the stand is independently adjustable for greatest positioning possibilities.

This stand/arm combo is also available with a removable "Turtle" base. Order # 756120.

The spring-loaded independent leg adjustment levels the load on uneven terrain.
Arm and grip head may be used for small fixtures, or positioning of gobos

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great filmmaking tool C stands are a must-have filmmaking tool. They hold pretty much anything and will save the day on cutting light out of a shot, holding a fan above an actor, assembling a backdrop, etc. The list goes on! Pair them up with some pony clamps and a sandbag and you'll never go wrong gripping again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Little Stand I ordered 4 of these by accident thinking they were the 40 version because last time I ordered the 40 it cost as much as these do. I opened one up and threw one of my Arri T1s on it. My opinion was instantly changed as I saw how versatile these little stands could be. It can get into places the 40 would never be able to get into, and is an all-around nice piece to have in your kit. I ended up keeping one of them just to have around and returning the rest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent This is my 3rd matthews c stand I have purchased. My first 2 were black and this one in chrome. The black ones feel like they have a little better finish since there is actually a coating on them but this chrome one looks cooler. I am currently trying to replace all of my light stands with c stands. They are so much more versatile and stable than conventional stands. Eventually I will have nothing but c stands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MSE high quality in a shorter package This was my first time buying a baby C-Stand though I have used their normal sized counterparts for decades. Having these guys around is awesome. The 2 I bought are dedicated to my Dana Dolly package but I may purchase more. For a smaller more compact kit these stands are great! MSE quality is always top notch. A mainstay on any set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will be buying more I bought this to replace one of my cheap, light-weight stands. I mostly use it in my studio with a Alien Bee Flash head and softbox. This stand is well built and with a sandbag, you dont have to worry much about your lights falling over when on location. I plan on buying more for my studio soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You can never own enough of these things C-Stands were given upon us mere mortals by the gods and should be revered as such. Use them, worship them. 1001 uses and always finding more. Probably the most multipurpose tool you'll ever own in a production kit. Yes, I like them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These stands rock For the price, these are the best 20 c-stands you can buy. The only other competitor is American and these are just as good and not nearly as expensive. I use these for professional use on film sets and my crew loves them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from short & sweet I have a couple of these size C Stands along with the standard size ones. The lower profile is sometimes more convienent and sometimes necessary. This size works well with track dollies systems too.
