Bergger VCCBS810/25 reviews

Prestige Variable CB Warmtone Baryta Paper (Semi-Gloss, 8 x 10", 25 Sheets) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from high quality paper My new found warmtone paper, was using ilford warmtone fiber, the bergger is a higher quality paper compared to the ilford. its a thicker fiber base and tones much nicer. The semi-gloss surface is perfect for framed under glass prints for those who who don't like the extra distractions of glossy reflections, but wish for more density range then matte or semi-matte fiber. Now all Bergger needs to do is release larger 50 and 100 sheet boxes of the paper to reduce the price a little.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I wish it was cheaper! This is one of my favorite papers, the finish is beautiful. I am developing this paper in Amidol, and boy it is looking good. great separation and tonality in both highlights and shadows. This paper has a cream base that, for me, goes well with portrait work. It is suitable for lith, a little hard but nice results. I wish it was cheaper!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Paper All Around Love the smooth surface and it's a great compromise when glossy is too glaring, but matte is too soft. Did not notice as much dry-down as one typically sees with warmtone papers. It also tones beautifully and brings in much more highlight details without having to sacrifice contrast or burn for long periods of time. It's more expensive than an equivalent supply of Ilford FB paper (and I love all of Ilford's FB paper products), but for the right negative, it's definitely worth the splurge! I would also vote for bigger packages to make it more economical.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Paper I think Berger provides a rich paper with nice tonal contrasts, even if it is expensive.
