Using many papers since the early 90’s they don’t make them like they used to anymore. Illford and many other brands have changed the chemistry and they look god awful. Not to mention they mostly only offer gloss or Matt finishes. That being said, Bergger paper is absolutely beautifully made!! The tonal quality you get out of it is exquisite not to mention they offer SEMI GLOSS IN FIBER!! It won’t make your prints muddy and lifeless, has beautiful contrast and very soft to the touch like velvet. $200.00 for 25 sheets is steep but worth every darn penny!
