I purchase this in the hope that it would work with the Rode NT-USB+ microphone. Unfortunately it does not. However it does work with another microphone which is used elsewhere, and it is sturdy and well built.

What's the diameter of the opening for the mic?

Unfortunately, there is no diameter details available. This clip is used for a specific threading design for these Rode mics, NT2-A, NT1000, NT2000, NTK, K2, Classic II & Broadcaster. If you have a different mic than these, I would suggest reaching out to a sales representative about a clip for your mic.

I have one of these that came with my ...

I have one of these that came with my Broadcaster, but cannot find an adapter to fasten to my 5/8-inch threaded mic-stand. (1/4 thread adapter is too small, 3/8 adapter is too large?). Any recommendations?

The Rode RM2 comes with a 3/8'' adapter inside of it. You can remove it by taking a quarter, turn it sideways and it will fit into the slots on the end of the adapter, so that you can unscrew it from the threading of the RM2. Once removed, the threading on the bottom of the RM2 will be 5/8''.

Does this work with the Procaster? If so, does it come with the ring that screws in to tighten the mic to the mount?

Hello Todd, This doesn’t come with the ring. The Procaster will come stock with it.
