The Wimberly F-2 Macro Bracket consists of the M-1 and M-4 double ball and socket links that lock positively and offer a great range of flash positions as well as creating an extremely adjustable macro bracket for both collared and non-collared lenses. It's perfect for the minimalist to use with everything from a squat 50mm macro lens to a 600mm super-telephoto. As with all of the Shape Shifter components, and unlike other manufacturer's products, parts are captive to prevent detachment from accidentally unscrewing them too far while in the field. Total weight of this combination is 0.88 lb.

I bought this bracket to go with a 600EX-RT and MP-E 65mm lens. It doesn't work at all. The provided clamp isn't even close to being secure around the tripod collar. What can I do to get it so this actually works with the MP-E's tripod collar?
I use it on a mp-e 65mm with a 550ex flash and it works very well. What part of the bracket is not secure? did you install an arca-swiss compatible plate on the lens foot?
