I use the D36 kit for a small room. It's more than enough to treat the front end of the room where I mix. Along with the foam bass traps they do a good job clearing up my mix. And they look cool at the same time. Now I'm able to up the volume without that high pitch echo. They're easy to install. It took me about 4 weeks of studying small room acoustics and planning. And, about 3 hours to mount them. This D36 Roominator kit comes with the EZ-STICK PRO tabs, NOT 2 tubes of TUBETAK adhesive.

I use the Roominators Kit to sound proof a part of a room in my house so that I can record voice overs. The kit I bought was surprisingly inexpensive and helped to make my room a workable space.

Will this kit help with bass cancelation in my plaster and lathe walled house? The bass drops out significantly unless im standing up.
Asked by: Maryann
No it will not, this kit has no bass traps and only 2" Studiofoam which is effective down to the mid range. I'd take a look at the Studio Starter Kit or Alpha DST for small kits that have bass traps, or just purchase LENRD's individually. How does a product like this compare to cheaper acoustic foam products, such as those on Amazon? Does this perform at a higher level for the cost?
Asked by: Matthan
Hi Matthan, When comparing our Studiofoam products to others, it's important to know what you're actually getting. We don't keep data on our competitors' products, but there are many sellers who offer a cheaper polyurethane foam that is cut to look like acoustic foam, but that isn't actually formulated to work effectively. Our Studiofoam costs more than other manufacturers' because it is specifically formulated to be more dense than standard foam, achieve a higher fire retardant rating, more color-fast, and machined to a finer edge. We make acoustical testing data for all our products freely available on our website, because we want customers to know how the product can be expected to perform in their space. Before deciding which foam to buy, I would encourage you to look at the performance data on our website here: https://www.auralex.com/product/studiofoam-dst-panels/
