No it will not, this kit has no bass traps and only 2" Studiofoam which is effective down to the mid range. I'd take a look at the Studio Starter Kit or Alpha DST for small kits that have bass traps, or just purchase LENRD's individually. We don't keep data on our competitors' products, but there are many sellers who offer a cheaper polyurethane foam that is cut to look like acoustic foam, but that isn't actually formulated to work effectively. Our Studiofoam costs more than other manufacturers' because it is specifically formulated to be more dense than standard foam, achieve a higher fire retardant rating, more color-fast, and machined to a finer edge. The Auralex D36-DST Studiofoam Roominator Kit (Charcoal Gray) does offer some protection as it is rated UL 94 HF-1.

A D36 covers 36 sq ft. It's 18 DST112's (1'x1') and 18 DST114's (1'x1').
