It's a solid, well constructed case, as you would expect from Pelican. Air tight seal, and pressure release for air travel. Good for small things, like extra AA batteries, keys, etc..Not big enough for a phone.

Are inside dimensions with soft liner or without liner? I want to place 3.0 x 4.5 x 0.5 unit. Thank you.

Those dimensions are for without the liner. I just measures 2.5x4.0 on the inside. The liner takes about .25 each side.
