Kino Flo KAS-CL6 reviews

KAS-CL6 6-Lamp Carry Case is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from You have to use this I don't see any other solution for Kino bulbs. I was excited to see that this case DOES have the dividers between the bulbs like the T12 cases do. The picture doesn't show that it does...but it does. Also the picture doesn't show that the case has a carrying handle, but it does have a carrying handle (not the velcro that is shown) in the middle of the case. The side velcro spots however are there as shown in the picture. I saw other reviews saying how flimsy this is or that it's just piece of cardboard??? I don't know if those people are new to the world of Kino Flo, but this case is plenty durable. The whole point of Kino Flo is the material that the lighting is made of to keep the fixture super lightweight. It may seem flimsy to the eye/touch but I assure you it's VERY durable. With that said, you are carrying bulbs so you wouldn't want to toss a pelican case on top of this case....although they would actually probably be just fine

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's in my Diva kit After picking broken bulb pieces out of one of my Diva's nooks and crannies I decided I needed a few of these both to transport my mains and my backups some way other than in their individual bulb boxes. To hold $ in fragile bulbs I wish it was a bit tougher but after your break 2 bulbs you've paid for one of these so there it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light Weight Protection I have confidence that while moving gear here and there, my fluorescent bulbs are reasonably safe. Unless a five ton elephant is on the set, then all bets are off. I use colored electricians tape to indicate the bulbs inside (i.e., red for 2900 Kelvin, orange for 3200 Kelvin and blue for 5500 Kelvin bulbs)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok. It gets the job done, sorta. This is a great product. It just needs to be made better. If you're going to make something to hold light bulbs, it should be tougher. Also, it would be nice if the lid snapped instead of the velcro. I almost bought the Flolight case because it's plastic but I liked this one because it was smaller. The only reason I would recommend to a friend is because there aren't a lot of options.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeps lamps safe Light weight. made for cfl lamps like the ones used in Kino Diva units. Good to carry a full set of tubes, plus spares. Too expensive for the materials it is made of. Just plastic corrugated and foam.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job of protecting bulbs This matches the bulb carrier that comes with the standard two diva lite kit. It does a good job holding the extra bulbs and holds them tightly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kino Flo KAS-CL6 case Convenient and organized way to store Diva lamps. Snug and padded slots for each lamp. Very rigged and protective for such a light weight case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Protection exceeds expectations Easy to pack and very small footprint. Velcro fasteners could work better but an easy fix.
