Celestron T-Ring for Canon EF-Mount Cameras
Key Features
  • Attaches Camera to Celestron Telescope
  • Optional Celestron Adapter Also Required
The Celestron T-Ring for Canon EF-Mount Cameras allows you to use an EF-mount camera to capture photos with your Celestron telescope. The T-ring attaches to the lens mount of your camera, securing via a sturdy bayonet flange that locks in place just like a lens. Then you can attach the other side of the T-ring to your telescope. A Celestron adapter (sold separately), such as the Celestron T-adapter, will be required to do this. It's the optional adapter that will secure to your telescope, and the T-ring will then thread onto the adapter. The Celestron adapter you choose depends on the type of photography you wish to do.

Is the 10mm t ring?

Is the 10mm t ring?
Asked by: Simon
The T-Ring is 11mm. Canon EOS (EF) bodies are 44mm deep, and adding an 11mm T-ring will get you to the ideal 55mm spacing.

question

what is the difference between EOS and EF lens?
Asked by: Rosemarie S.
EOS is the line of Canon DSLR cameras. There are 2 styles of lenses (the actual mount is the same): EF for full frame sensors such as the 5D, 7D, etc. and EFS for crop frame sensors such as the 50D and the 70D. The T mount will work for either full frame or crop frame cameras because it has no optical elements (no glass).

The Celestron T-Ring for Canon EF-Mount Cameras (B&H# CETRCAF) features standard T-mount 42mm (0.75 thread pitch) threads and is therefore not compatible with M38 threads.

Please consult with B&H Photo for alternative adapter options to mount Canon lenses to a Sony camera.

What is the size of threads 49mm or 52mm? I need 52mm to canon EF mount ! Thanks

A T mount is M42, it is not the traditional threading, it is meant to attach to a Canon camera and then attach it to a telescope or other T mount optic.

The Celestron T-Mount SLR Camera Adapter for Canon EOS #93419 only works on the EF-mount, not the EOS-M-mount or the RF-mount mirrorless cameras. You will need a Canon or third party EOS-M to EF mount adapter that will fit to our #93419. Sincerely, Garrett at Celestron
