Technically it can be used, but Canon would not have an ICC profile for this paper on the Canon Printer

I would think so, if just B&W? I’ve accidentally printed on it and the colors were off, but maybe a little text might work?

When using Epson's Velvet Fine Art Paper how do you tell which side to print on?
I always leave the paper right side up. I know some customers say you can feel the difference, but I have never been able to notice much difference until I print it on the wrong side. If you print on the wrong side, the colors are very faded.
