CB-18E Centerball Head is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent &Tough Little Guy What to expect from German engineering? nothing but the best really. This little guy can really take the weight. I mounted a canon eos m3 with a canon 24-70mm L. I can tilt the tripod forward as low as i need and the head ball holds the cam and lens in place w/o a hicup. Excellent buy and price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A disappointment I ordered this to use with my venerable Leitz/Leica table tripod and wish it worked better for me. The FLM CB-18 looks great on the Leitz tripod and seems decently finished but it simply does not have the holding power I need - or my fingers are not strong enough to lock it down tight enough. The knob is too small - a paddle like RRS (and Gitzo) use on their small heads would be better. The specified weight capacity of 13 lbs. is very misleading - I have no doubt the head can hold that if it is balanced, but in practice the usable load is maybe a quarter of that. I will keep looking for a better solution for my use. This head would be fine if I only wanted to use my Nikon 1 gear on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this again Replaced small Oben head with this. Has a bigger camera platform. So more support. So much better. A real jewel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes I would buy again and again. Put this on the butt end of an RRS Safari clamp mounted with a Desmond DAC-38 clamp to gain full articulation camera angle. Works great with lighter Fuji XE-1 and shortish lenses for close up shots. Small enough for Safari clamp pkg. to remain compact IE close to the ground clamped to a log or whatever. Close up photography is chock full of challenges so this rig solved a few.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Quality It is very well made and feels really solid. All elements are metal. It easily keeps 3kg camera in any position. Would like to mention that it also supports 360 degree rotation when is not fixed. I use it with my JOBY GorillaPod 3K and it works pretty good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent small ball head small compact but very well made, it can handle more than it looks, perhaps does not feel as refined as its bigger brothers but still a good deal for its price. I attach this on my Leica table top tripod and it makes a great combo.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from small head with locking power! When you buy a small ball head you want the locking power for weird angles etc.. this one actually provides it. having used a lot of others this is well worth it and I will only ever buy this one again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid build It holds my Atomos Ninja Flame with two 6600 mAh batteries in any position I put it, even with sudden movements or jolts. I'd say that's a win
