This 9.8' Avenger Turtle Base C-Stand Grip Arm Kit features a detachable "turtle" base that can be removed for easier transport. A light head can be mounted to the base directly with the aid of an optional stand adapter (E200). This black steel kit includes a 2.5" grip head and 40" arm. The innovative design of the C-stand base allows individual legs to be set at any angle, and can be positioned in locations not possible with classic stands.

octabox keeps slipping downwards on my C stand arm ! any suggestions how to hold it ?
A pin must be mounted in the knuckle at the end of the arm so a light can be mounted to the Avenger Turtle Base C-Stand Grip Arm Kit (9.8', Black), B&H # AVA2030DCBK. The knuckle is mounted in such a way that when weight is applied to the arm, it tightens and does not loosen. If it is loosening, you need to change the orientation of the grip head so that it tightens as the arm is pulled down.

While you should be able to fly with the Avenger Turtle Base C-Stand Grip Arm Kit (9.8', Chrome-plated), most likely, you will have to check the stand and its case in as Oversized Baggage and pay whatever the current rate is for oversized baggage to the airline on which you are travelling. The length of the light stand when collapsed is 4.4 feet (52.8 inches), and the dimensions of the light stand packaging measures 54.0 x 23.0 x 3.0 in inches.

My C stand legs did not come with a knob to move them around. Is this normal?
C-stands that do not feature a knob at the bottom of the base generally have a fixed base where it cannot be separated from the column. On the other hand, C-stands that have the knob at the bottom of the base would allow the base to separate from the riser or would have a non-removable base which can put the legs into an offset position for an uneven surface.

I want to attach to the boom arm: Godox AD600Pro with 100CM Octagonal. Will it work ? Also has anyone tried this ? Secondly I want to know if there is a weight limit to attach to Boom arm ?
