Hosa Technology XFF Reviews
Decent, Not Perfect
As one other reviewer noted, although the cord functions and has acceptable performance, Hosa mangles the cord with inept packaging. As anyone who has heard the studio mantra "The Way Of The Cord" knows, cords should always be coiled as they came off the spool, without twists and kinks, to preserve the integrity and performance of the fine filiments within them. This protects the investment, and ensures that your cords will perform during critical recording. Even budget products deserve better attention from their makers, and this is such an easy thing to get right. So, two stars off for inept product care from Hosa.
Perfect for keeping XLR out of the way
My mic is on a boom arm above a keyboard, so a normal XLR came out of the mic in a big arc and would get bumped while I was typing. This right-angle fixed that issue and keeps the occupied space to a minimum.
