Do you point these at the subject or away from the subject and have the light bounce back?
The Impact White Translucent Umbrella (33") is designed for a light to be shot through it, so pointing the umbrella directly at the subject works best in most situations.

what is the color temp of these bulbs?
The bulb spec is 3200k. I havent done anything to verify this but the auto white balance on the camera yields decent color accuracy. Good enough for web publishing.Hope this is helpful.
