    Impact PT100 reviews

    Posing Table - 28-48" (71-122 cm) is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 52.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible construction, difficult to adju Total piece of junk. The attachment from the plate on the top surface to the column is two small screws, which work loose and then get stripped very quickly. Adjusting them requires removing the plate--which is, ironically, attached to the top surface far better than the plate is attached to the column. The vertical adjustment lock is hard to turn, and you have to put some weight on the bottom and yank hard on the top to raise it up. And don't even think of having someone lean on the table anywhere but in the center. The top will tear clean off, destroying the two weak screws that hold it in place in the process.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well for portraits and very portable Posing table works well for portraits and the price was affordable and was easy to assemble. There is a wobble if the post does not get set into the base but it works. Nice to break down and set up for traveling from one location to another.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good value Packed well. Assembly was fairly easy. The only real problem was that the screws attaching the base unit were too long and caused unsightly bumps in the top of the table. I ended up buying washers to keep them from pushing through. Also, the small wood screws that help attach the base mounting plate were not the best size for that purpose and I think they were made out of aluminum and both broke before getting 1/2 way in. I was able to back one out with a pair of vice grips but the other had to be drilled before I could put a replacement screw in. I thought this was a little cheesy. But, now that it is assembled all is well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poorly made I'm a grad portrait photographer so I use a posing table pretty much every day. The basic design of this table is good but the overall quality is poor. The center column is attached to a metal plate, which then screws into the table top. The single bolt connector between column and plate comes loose very easily, requiring disassembly to tighten. To tighten this I have to unscrew the plate from the tabletop; upon doing so the metal sockets for the screws stripped right out of the MDF leaving a nasty hole. (I was being gentle, really!) With some glue I may be able to re-attach but more likely I will need to make a new table top from more solid wood.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheap table This is not more than a 2.5 star table. If you have the cash and in need of solid table that will last you years, look elsewhere! The wheel locks work (all but one) but your better off with out wheels anyways. Not a solid top, only one bolt with two tiny screws holding it on in the middle, so it has some stability issues. Other than that it seems ok, but will only see limited use for us, so not a big deal. Would only recommend it for light duty use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nut for Clamp is Correct for Mine Mine was delivered early March 2009 and the nut everyone talks about was correct, it fit perfectly. My additional comments: The height adjustment is pneumatic and it is hard to move the table up and down. When you try hard, the center shaft separates from the base legs. The bottom of the center shaft does not screw into the base legs, it's just pushed tightly into a big hole, so it will pull out. You have to extend the shaft by holding the bottom part of the shaft. BUT, there is a large adjustment bolt at the bottom of the shaft and if you lossen it, the pneumatic backpressure can be made less. Also, I was expecting to be able to use it without the roller feet, with just legs flat on the floor. But this is not possible because when the center shaft is pushed into the base hole it extends down too far and the roller feet must be attached. Otherwise this product does exactly what it is designed for, help posing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice posing table Bought for portrait sittings. Was a little skeptical when reading the reviews but found this to be well made and sturdy, easy to adjust. I like the casters. A very good value for the price. My only wish would be for some tilt capability, but for what it cost, wouldn't really expect that.
