Can I use this on wood?
Asked by: christine
Yes very probably. It will take some experiment. Rinsing will be an issue if the wood is very pourous.

Can I use this to paint on film leader? Or is your other cyanotype formulary (the dry one) better for these purposes? Thanks!
Asked by: Danya
Yes, you can use the Photographers' Formulary Liquid Cyanotype Printing Kit to paint on film leader, and it should work quite well for that purpose. The liquid kit is essentially the same formulation as the dry (powdered) version—just pre-mixed for convenience.

This kit will do way more than 24 prints right? I just printed about 20 and the bottles are still almost full.
Asked by: Patrick
I am almost certain that this site (and others) used to say over 100 sheets per set of bottles. I use this product every semester with my students and we get well over 100 sheets of 8x10 coated sheets. We use foam brushes.

I am interested in purchasing for my art classes... what is the dilution or ratio? I don't see instructions or details online. What other supplies will I need (beakers, trays, thermometer etc)? Thank you
Asked by: Dina
Hello The ratio is one to one for solution A and B. No thermometer needed. For sure grab some aprons and rubber gloves because the chemicals do stain. Trays will be helpful as well depending on what you are going to print on. Hope that helps, have fun!!!

I just bought these, usually I buy from another company that is already pre mixed. I've read the manual a few times and it's very confusing to me personally. Do I dump all the dry substances in the corresponding bottle and mix it or does it need to be measured out? Please lmk on how to do this properly and to which bottle I add the dry substance. I couldn't find a video on it either
Asked by: Gabriel
Precise instructions for mixing the chemicals can be found at this link: https://www.freestylephoto.biz/pdf/product_pdfs/formulary/Formulary_LiquidCyanotype_070091.pdf
