Manfrotto 018 Reviews
Easy to move; wheels don't lock
These wheels make it very easy for me to move my light stands around. They seem to be good quality and I hope they'll last long. The reason I rated 3 stars is that there is no way to lock the wheels in place. Once I put my light stands where I want them, I want to be able to lock the wheels so they stay there. If anything bumps into them they move a little bit and turn so my light is not facing the right way. If they would come with a lock that would be the best.
Works well, stays on tight
I'm using these casters with the Manfrotto1004BAC-3 light stands. They stay on great and support the light stands well even with a boom and counterbalance (~25lbs) on the light stand.
The movement is not smooth
I bought these casters for the 420csu boom stand. Installation was very easy just follow the instructions. Although they make it easier to move the stand around with the extended boom the movement itself is not smooth at all. Also you cannot move the stand to and fro on a straight line but rather in circular movements which entangles the power cable around the stand.
Perfect fit on my light stand
They fit perfectly on my Monfrotto light stand. Have wheels makes my job a lot easier!
The Best!!!!
They are the best casters for light stands and worth the money. I have some that are over 25 years old and work as well as the day I got them. When you roll the stand or turn it on a dime, it's smooth. Unlike lower cost casters I have used. They where a waste of my money!
On a roll
Love the quality will be ordering more for other light stands.
Great Product
These casters are great; so much so that I purchased this second set. They were easy to install and enable me to easily reposition my tripods. They have proven to definitely be worth the money.
It’s an ok
It’s ok for me. They don’t roll easily at all directions.
