The medium black Giottos Rocket Blaster Dust-Removal Tool safely blows clean air to eliminate dust from sensitive or hard-to-reach surfaces, such as those on lenses, cameras, filters and keyboards. It is crafted from a durable silicone rubber that offers a virtually instantaneous rebound for a nearly continuous stream of clean air. Its long, thin nozzle features an opening designed to eliminate whistling, and can also be removed for cleaning. A one-way valve on the bottom brings in clean air and does not re-distribute dust. Additionally, the blaster stands up on its own and can be set on its side on a flat surface without rolling around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pump away The medium size was just perfect. Not too big & not too small. It provides an adequate blast of air per pump. (though I imagine the larger sized one can blast harder)I use the medium Rocket Air Blower to blow away dust from my camera's sensor. When doing so, just make sure to point the camera downwards so the dislodged particles don't settle back into the camera. For added stability, you can mount the camera to a tripod that points downwards before you start cleaning. (that way both hands are free)Another good thing is the stability of the red pointing nozzle. It doesn't wobble wildly everytime you pump. Though there can still be some movement, proper handholding of the pump using even pressure pretty much guarantees the nozzle stays aimed where you want it to.At just $ bucks, this is a great buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice, but too large and uncomfortable The blower is well-made and I like that it has valve to keep air/dust from getting sucked back in. It produces a pretty strong puff of air. Unfortunately I'll be returning mine. First, it's just too large to keep in my bag when I'm on-the-go. Second, the rocket design is too clever for its own good. I found it uncomfortable to hold and squeeze because of the fins. I'm debating whether to try the small version or a different product. I guess I could cut off the fins, as they're purely decorative.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! Impressive blast of air, but now that I own it, I cannot see how it would perform any different than the LensPen Hurricane, aside from that it looks neat and stands on its end. I sometimes wish I purchased the large version for just a little more air! ...but the medium so far is working great (it's close to the size of the Hurricane). However I picked the medium so it would pack easier in the bag. I use it to clean lenses, filters, sensors, plus dust out of the keyboard and cooling fan of my laptop instead of canned air - now I don't have to spend money on cans of compressed air and don't have to worry about breathing in chemicals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the right size I debated between this and the larger size. Due to the shrinking space in my backpack, I opted for the medium. It is perfect and easy to use. It delivers a strong stream of air and the nozzle is easy to control and keep on the target. The rubber is heavy duty and appears as if it will last a very long time. Do not use compressed air on your equipment as it delivers too much force. For the size, price and quality you can't go wrong with one or two of these in the bag or studio.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This id the one to get First of all; Please, do not ever use You breath to either huff or blow on Your optical elements. No matter what You may read anywhere or who may have said it, that procedure is far less than good information. I do not use any type of canned air products believing their use can be risky! to the health and welfare of the lenses. Use this Giottos air bulb blower and blow every-time Your lenses are used and before they are stored away. You simply can not go wrong in using that procedure. This is a GREAT bulb blower and made of a great feeling material (it feels like silicon). The Giottos bulb blowers are complete with moldings which can be used either as a stand or to keep the blower from rolling off into the dirt. I also like being easily able to use a lanyard through the provided holes. The built in air valve is a great idea which keeps dust or dirt from being drawn back into the bulb when the bulb is released. I read and article which that writer recommended getting the Medium size Giottos and I did get that one first from Our friends at B and H. Later on, I also got the Large size, which I, personally, like the best as I believe it has a bit more and stronger air puffs. I found that even that Large size fits nicely inside My binoculars case alongside the binoculars. That way I always have My Giottos blower with Me. With the choice of the large size, one also has color choices and I picked the red one with the white nozzle. The medium size (all are black) also worked very well. Giottos is a well thought out product and is quick, easy and fun to use. Most of all, using the bulb blower will never damage Your lenses in the slightest.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This thing blows yes I'd recommend this and do all the time. It can really save you from having to edit out dust and splotching up your nice pictures. For me this was the right size to go with. The weighing factors are effectiveness vs. space it takes up in you bag. This medium size gets the job done but you have to pump it kinda fast and repetitively, where I'd imagine that the larger one would create more blowing power. I've seen the smaller one and don't think it would work so well. It would be nice if the tip easily came off and locked back on so that it would be less awkward to stow away. I've yet to se a good competitor to this product and don't even think of picking up one of the combo blower/brush's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shoot the moon dust off your sensor! I shoot birds with a 70-300vr lens and had numerous spots and a hair-like blur in the images that had any appreciable amount of sky in them. I was successful on the very first attempt at cleaning the sensor in my Nikon D40x. I merely attached my camera to a tripod and pointed the lens mount base downward and set the mirror in the camera to flip out of the way (after checking the battery in my camera to see that it was fully charged). I then squeezed the bulb of the blower about a dozen times, directing it at different areas of the sensor. My images are clean after one application of the Rocket! I am thrilled. The blower has already paid for itself! I would without hesitation recommend the Rocket air blower to anyone who is afraid to use chemicals on their sensor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Blower! I happened to lose the small version of this, thought i might see if this one would provide stronger wind, It doe's but not by much.If your trying to save space in your Camera bag then buy the small version, It works just fine.
