Lineco Gummed Linen Hinging Tape (2" x 300')

This 2" x 300' Gummed Linen Hinging Tape from Lineco is used to mount photographs and artwork to mounting boards and hinge together museum boards to create window mats. Book spines or maps can also be repaired and kept together by using the hinging tape.

The linen tape is water-activated, which creates a strong adhesive, but also allows it to come apart easily when water is reapplied. The acid-free linen tape is pH neutral and the fabric has a 65 / 55 thread count. As a result, the linen and adhesive have a stronger hold on larger pieces of art.
