The ARRI Studio Cool 4 has been designed for the professional user in all types of studio applications. It features the latest technology in fluorescent lamps with either 3200 or 5600K, rated at 55 watts, and it is constructed with rigid aluminium extrusion profiles. This is the basic version, which is equipped with a 2-position switch, for single On/Off control of 2 or 4 tubes.
When fitted with four TC-L 55-watt tubes, this fixture will provide a beam of 14.2 footcandles 56.7 x 43.6' from a distance of 16 feet.
Two different optional reflector types are available: A 120° beam angle reflector for a wider and a 90° beam angle reflector for a narrow light field.
Special quicklock connectors allow stacking of several units together to build a customized combination of any of the models. The fixtures are then connected with connector cables to one another (max. 12 tubes). Only one power connection can then supply the whole circuit.
The rugged aluminum extrusion housing features a detachable ballast/electronics module for ease of service and maintenance.
