If the overall size of the slides are the same as cardboard mounted slides, then yes, they will fit.

It appears the Logan Electric 12 x 16" E-Z View Slide Sorter #1055 - Holds 40 Slides has a 60 watt incandescent rating. If you are looking for a lamp for your usage needs, I would recommend the Eiko Medium Base Self-Ballasted CFLi Lamp (23W, 120 VAC), B&H # EISP23, as a good option for your usage needs.

question

Can I use a 60W replacement LED bulb rated at 800 lumens with a DSLR camera and get good results to digitize 35mm slides?
Asked by: Gary S.
In theory, yes. The results, however, would not be good. Think dust and dirt on the slide surfaces, true size due to focus/focusing distance, true plane issues; and camera resolution, not to mention color issues. Depending on the number of slides you want to duplicate - your best solution would be to purchase scanner dedicated to that purpose; the easiest is to find a photo lab or camera store that does slide reproductions.

question

what type of lighting to review slides does this call for?
Asked by: Anonymous
A small incandescent bulb. I started with 25 watt but changed to a fluorescent bulb to avoid heat build-up. Works quite well.
